CIDER PRODUCTION

The GAEC at Claids specialises in the production of traditional farm cider and belongs to the local association of producers.


For a number of years Mr Dauget has also produced an aperitif called "Coeur de pommes" based on cider and eau de vie, as well as pure apple juice.


The producer opens his doors to the public in the summer months on Friday afternoons (by appointment) for guided tours of the premises: cider press, cider barrels.  Tours can also be organised out of season by appointment.
He also sells his goods at the special markets organised to promote local products together with arts and crafts.
