RAMBLING

The district of Lessay is a veritable paradise for ramblers, whatever their level of fitness.  Throughout the area there are various circuits to follow:

Circuits planned by the Tourist Office:

The district’s Tourist Office has produced a topoguide featuring 12 circuits in the vicinity of Lessay for walkers, horse riders and mountain bikers.  They all cover a distance of about 10 km, giving users the chance to discover the coastline, the Ay marshes, wooded moorland, fields and hedgerows as well as our pretty villages.

Reference details: Topoguide "Promenades et Randonnées dans la region de Lessay" - costs 3.81€.  On sale in tourist offices and book shops.

Discovery trails in the Regional Natural Park of the Cotentin  and Bessin Salt Marshes:

There are information panels on the discovery paths to guide you along your chosen route.  The paths are between 2 and 7 km long, and ideal for a family walk.  They enable users to discover the various features that are part of our district’s landscape.
